Raja Pura products are designed in Portugal by me and then made in India under my supervision. What does this mean?
It means that I travel to India every year to oversee the entire production process. I work with family-run factories with trusted people, where labor rights are respected, offering fair working conditions.
At Raja Pura, we value the local workforce and for that reason, we also work with women’s groups. They carry out the "Block Print" work and make certain specific items, such as: silk kimonos, silk skirts, and silk trousers.
🔱We are a Slow Fashion brand
We encourage the production of durable and timeless clothing.
We take into account the environmental impact that textile production has on the world, and so, this is what we do:
Upcycling
Our collections include recycled materials.
We transform the old clothes worn by Indian women, the saris, into new garments or accessories. Each of these fabrics is carefully selected by me one by one and thoughtfully repurposed.

Zero Waste
We reuse leftovers
We make accessories from the leftover fabrics of our productions: colorful silk bags to hold your items when you make a purchase, scarves, ribbons, hair elastics, and bags for our costume jewelry.

Fabrics
In addition to saris, we also work with:
- Organic cotton
- Traditional old Indian fabrics embroidered by hand.
- Fabrics leftover from productions of other major brands.
Small family factories and women's collectives
Where our production takes place
In 2010, when I went to India for the first time, I met all the people I still work with today! It has been a wonderful journey, where we have all seen each other grow: professionally and personally. Some of these people were also just starting their businesses! This means that nowadays, clothing production is their family livelihood.
