Raja Pura was born from a trip to India in 2009 and all the inspiration this place brought me!
My passion for fashion and my love for cultural diversity have been my motivation, every year, to continue creating unique, original clothing collections with exclusive pieces!
I have at your disposal a variety of elegant and colorful dresses, coats, vests, pants, skirts, shawls, tops and accessories that will make you feel elegant, stylish and empowered!!
The pieces are mostly made with recycled saris that are reused to give life to our items. Each piece is unique, there is no other like it, which makes each item truly special!
About me...
My name is Vera Luis, I have a degree in Communication Sciences and I started this project in 2010...I was just a girl!
That year, I took my first trip to India 🕌 where this brand's first clothing collection emerged! ✨
I started doing markets from the north to the south of the country since then. In 2015 I met my husband and we became two carrying the boat... which later became four 🤭😅
We continued to go to India every year, design our collections and bring to Portugal the most beautiful things we found along the way! ❣️
In 2021 I went through a bad moment in my life, as I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, which I still struggle with today... and everything changed!
I decided to stop doing markets, but I didn't want to give up my project, so I decided to open a store in Lagos, in the ALgarve!🕌....
This year, Raja Pura celebrated its 13th anniversary, I know that there are many people who have been with me since the beginning and I am immensely grateful for being part of my path and this adventure that is Life!! ❣️
This brand is not just a simple clothing brand, it is my story and I would like it to also be, for you and the world, an example of love, courage and perseverance!
Faced with life's adversities, we can always choose to do what we like most and be happy!
